An Australian company has been working on a system that uses underwater buoys to convert sea waves into zero-emission energy and desalinated water. Australian firm Carnegie Wave Energy has been developing a system called CETO, which aims to utilise sea waves to generate power. Steel-made buoys that can currently generate 240 kilowatts are the main part of the system. At the Australian naval base HMAS Stirling, three buoys are placed 11 kilometres apart. The buoys are less susceptible to extreme weather damage, while underwater waves are sufficient to generate power. The buoys' pumps drive the high pressure water to an onshore power plant via a subsea pipe. The high pressure water spins the turbines, which then generate zero-carbon electricity. The CETO system can be used to power a des...
Formed in April 2013, EC-OG is an employee-owned independent Subsea Engineering services provider. We have developed an innovative, ocean current turbine known as the Subsea Power Hub to produce energy for multiple applications. The Subsea Power Hub will provide power in subsea conditions using a unique patented turbine arrangement. It is easy to install, reliable, cost effective and suitable for remote environments.
The Secure Infinity Series 2MW generator set, with prime power for the offshore oil and gas industry. Robust design, superior quality containerised turbine generators for an infinite number of features and application engineering combinations. Background A global oil and gas exploration company needed additional power on one of their oil platforms in the Middle East. The challenge The main electrical power supply to this platform is provided via a 33kV subsea cable link of over 40Km. The requirement was to install two new generators of 2MVA (approx.) each, to cater the additional power requirement of full production needed to meet their contractual production agreements. The Solution Dale Power Solutions provided two bespoke secure infinity generator sets, each providing a continuou...

The blowout preventer that was intended to shut off the flow of high-pressure oil and gas from the Macondo well in the Gulf of Mexico during the disaster on the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig on April 20, 2010, failed to seal the well because drill pipe buckled for reasons the offshore drilling industry remains largely unaware of.
This video tutorial shows how we can use the 'Simulate' button in order to create visually attractive animations of the bottle moving along the shaft. When simulating the bottle movement we can also assemble other models, and replace the 'simplified' bottle geometry with more complex, and more representative geometry. Using the instructions in this video, you should be able to create animations that will impress your clients and communicate your technical prowess and design intent well.
The Fundy Ocean Research Center for Energy (FORCE) — made up of public and private developers, regulators, scientists and academics — has been busy testing four subsea turbines (that operate somewhat like underwater windmills) at its demonstration facility in the Minas Passage, 10 kilometres west of Parrsboro, Nova Scotia since 2009. Transcript: http://bit.ly/1SUYUTz "The Bay of Fundy is the best tidal power energy site in the world, both because of the amount of water and how fast it goes. 160 billion tons of water flow through the Bay of Fundy on every tidal cycle. That’s more than the combined flow of all the rivers in the world. If we are able to harness all of the power – just within the Minas Passage alone – it is enough to power all of the homes within Nova Scotia." - Anne-Marie ...

These realistic 3d modular components are constructed and named independently for ease of placement and manipulation within your scene.
Duxvalves produces a wide range of choke and control valves. These valves can be equipped with several types of valve principles (internals) depending on the specific application and considering the process conditions.
